Das Martyrium des heiligen Abo von Tiflis is a German-language account of Abo of Tiflis, a Muslim perfumer from Baghdad who converted to Georgian Christianity in the eighth century. He joined the service of a Georgian prince held hostage by the Caliph and escaped to Tbilisi, Georgia. After their return, Abo converted to Christianity, but was eventually captured and executed.
